Bilal Abdur-Rahman

Chief Executive Officer and Founder

Bilal Abdur-Rahman has an impressive track record building a robust network of surgeons and delivering profitable results with over 20 years of medical sales experience. In prior roles, he served as an Independent Distributor of Medicrea, an Independent Sales Agent for SeaSpine Inc. and as a Regional Sales Manager at Paradigm Spine and Zimmer Biomet. Bilal earned his bachelor’s degree in history from Oregon State University and a business certificate from the University of Washington. He is now pursuing an MBA in Organizational Leadership from Oregon State University. Bilal enjoys spending time with his family, reading, working out and rooting for his favorite football team, the Oregon State Beavers.

Kolby Taylor

Sales Representative

Kolby Taylor joined the Spine Gear team in 2022, dedicating himself to supporting surgeons and facilities across the Valley in their efforts to improve patient surgical outcomes with the latest spine technologies. His area of expertise is sacroiliac fusions, trauma and degenerative disc disease (DDD). Kolby strives to be a reliable team player and takes pride in seeing the successful growth of Spine Gear. Kolby graduated from Oregon State University with a master’s degree in communications and business administration in 2021.

Ryan Lopez

Associate Sales Representative

Ryan Lopez joined Spine Gear in January 2023 and works closely and diligently with his team to provide exceptional service to surgeons. He is people-oriented, and enjoys visiting social spaces with friends. Ryan graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in physiology and a minor in biochemistry. Ryan brings rich energy and charisma to the team, which his colleagues describe as “electric”.
